I know we have a few guitarists in the Oppo-sphere, and I've been curious. These pictures are from the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , my favorite place in the world, and I encourage anyone with the chance to visit it to do so.

So, What is your collection like, and what do you hope to do with it?

Here's four of them. The $100 ex-rental Pbass copy and classical are on another wall with the banjo.

Kinja'd!!!

Not a collection, really... but a box of tools.

I'm too lazy to go arrange them all pretty so I'll just use older pics. There is a Stage 100 floating around here somewhere too..

So awesome to see a Micro Terror driving a cab like that. I plan to purchase one; what's the amp like?

How do you like the Micro terror? I've been debating grabbing a bass terror 500 next.

I'm a bassist at heart, but I picked up an Airline off Craigslist earlier this year. I've been trying to teach myself, but I haven't been playing as much as I should

I have this exact guitar. Except beat up: Friend A had it, Friend B dropped a skateboard on it and it cracked the side. So Friend B didn't play guitar, but bought it from friend A. So gave friend B all 30 bucks I had in my wallet for it. Best deal ever.

No picture, but I just have my blue, early 90s american standard strat, with custom pickups. Sounds great. I play through a Biyang X-drive, modded SD-1, and modded deluxe memory boy into a peavy windsor 1x12. Nothing fancy, but I've dialed it in to sound good enough for my purposes. I've had the strat for about 6 years, bought it for $500.

My Mapex Orion drum kit is really my prized possession...

Also, one of these:

Kinja'd!!!

Its pretty cool, a neck like a lot of ESP/LTD's other hard rock/metal guitars, but a JB humbucker, and a really awesomely smooth lipstick pickup in the neck.

The only niggles I have with it are the sort that would have been solved with me spending more money. It's amazing for practicing, but its not like it has a foot pedal or anything like that, but the clean and overdriven tones are pretty awesome (especially for the size). It would be pretty easy to connect some pedals and use it more intensively, though. I'm blown away with what they can do with something so tiny, it can get pretty loud!

I love it, it isn't full tube (I think there is one in there) but the tone and volume are pretty ridiculous for the packaging/price. That bass terror 500 looks pretty sick!

Hybrid tubes. Solid state power but tube pre amps. Smaller, lighter, cheaper, but you still get some tube flavor. Tempted to get the 1000 but idk wtf I would do with a thousand watt head besides piss the neighbors off.

ha ha ha, I totally understand! I had the Fender Stage 100 connected to that cab, but why? I don't gig, so I use it as a separate practice amp in my office now.

My main. That is to say when I was still playing regularly. I've also got a Michael Kelly Dragonfly 5 string fretless acoustic bass, some cheap electric guitar, and an old Gibson Hummingbird Custom I got from my grandfather (of which I apparently have no pictures)

EDIT: Found one!

GAS (gear. acquisition. syndrome) Too bad I don't have the cash lol. Would have an Ampeg fridge (8x10) for outdoor/large venues with a 1000w head, a more manageable club rig, maybe stack a couple 2x12's or 2x10's although I love my 15", and then a small 2x10 studio rig. Alas, one day #lottery

All I've got right now is a hand-made djembe from Darkwood Percussion made of wenge (yes, it's hella heavy) and a Fender Stratcoustic. In the past, I've had (in no particular order) an Aria Pro Les Paul Junior copy, a generic Hondo strat copy, a decent Beatle-bass copy, a Taylor Big Baby, and for a while I had possession of my Dad's Peerless archtop.

CME is run by a bunch of dicks. They wanted to shaft my friend on his LP trade in. They wanted to sell him a new Rickenbacker 330 at list which no one does, and they "might be able to find a case for it". Gee, perhaps it might be THE FUCKING CASE THE GUITAR COMES WITH?!? Then the one employees/owners was bragging about how he bought up a bunch of lefty guitars from Guitar Center dirt cheap on clearance and brought them back to CME to sell at a mark up. I mean sure that's sorta smart? Not sure what happens with the warranties... But you still don't want to brag about that in front of customers. They have way too many iterations of the Les Paul and Strat. They are like the 911 and Mustang of guitars.

And then I got bored and had some spare parts and a wooden crate used to ship wine bottles...
