I'm bored AF and came up with this in the shower after reading the other dream garage thread. I know these threads come up every so often, so here's some criteria to make it more interesting.
You just won $700,000 , and you're just so drunk and stupid you somehow manage to spend every last penny of your winnings ONLY on cars . There are some restrictions
-You can only can buy as many cars as you can fit on driveway and designated spots. Squeeze in as many as you can if you'd like, but keep your lawn car free!
-You must count cars that are already in your driveway. You can sell your cars to make space and get more cash but no money can go to those cars.
-You must spend nearly every penny of that $700k on cars with or without mods.
Okayyy, so here I go
I'm gonna sell my 335i and my mom's Q5, getting 19 and 24k, each. up to $743k at this point. I have a two car garage and 4 cars fit easily on our driveway.
1. Audi SQ5.. gotta treat mom, and about $67k fully loaded.
2. 2011+ BMW 335is 6MT. My DD! Many examples available for around 35k
3. MBZ SLS Black Series.. why not? Two for under 300k on cars.com
4. Audi R8 V10 plus 6MT, 180k as configured on Audi's site
5. Audi S8 4.0T, 130k fully loaded on Audi's site
aand a grand total of $712,000 from $743,000. Just enough left over to pay for tires. Had to drop a C63 to meet budget. LOL.
For those of you who have only have 1 place to park.. get creative I guess...

Can I kick my roommates out and all ? I'm pretty sure I can fit at least 10 cars in my driveway and another two in the garage. . . But I would probably just spend it on a Viper GTS ACR, KP110GC skyline with a RB26, V8 Miata, S2000 CR in Apex Blue, a forcefield that repels the damn cats in my neighborhood so they don't sleep on my cars. . . and I would say fuck it and import a now legal R32 GT-R. Well shit I probably would have enough to get a 20B swapped FD. Well shit now that I think about it, WANKELS FOR EVERY CAR! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA

I'm guessing you live in a land free of taxes and registration fees.
With 700k I'd build my dream garage with detached garage. Screw your rules. Bwhahahhaha

2 spots makes this tricky but ....
Because gated manual and DD status, plus its probably the most expensive thing that would work as a "winter car" for $182k.
So then I would need a really expensive sumer car ... this for $448k works.
And because you brought moms into this, and there is a large sum left, this Silverado for $57k.
687,000 out 700,00 isn't bad.

I can probably fit 1000 cars if you include people who live with their parents that happen to own small businesses. So 700k/2k for each project Miata =350 Miatas. Almost enough to equal one for every day.

Ok, ditch all my cars, empty 3 car garage and driveway that can fit 6 and a spot for two in my back of the garage.
Ducati 1199 Panigale Tricolore S - 27k
2014 Yamaha R6 - 11k
E92 M3 LBWorks widebody kit - 150k(?)
B8 S4 Avant on Air suspension with some fly wheels - 70k
What am I at? 258k? Shit.
Ok, last one for inside
2014 Duramax Chevy 2500HD, lifted on some bro wheels all black - 80k
E30 M3 S54 swap with all sorts of goodies - assuming 65k total investment
Built 2014 STi hatch - 60k (daily driver slut)
That's a total of... 463k...
This is seriously all I want... Can I keep the rest to maintain my ridiculously stupid garage?

I would do this completely sober and with only 3 spots available I can go big. So... $700k... hmmm.... I'd sell my '76 Alfa Spyder to make room for 3 better cars! So with $706k I would get the following:
Fist I'd pick up one of these bad boys:
Its a 1967 Bizzarini 5300 GT Strada. So much to love there for $470k. And with a Chevy v8 theres improved reliability and reduced maintenance! Now, I have $236k left. I'd take $80k and get this:
Its a tribute to the Rothmans Porsche 953 rally car of Dakar fame. But since only 3 were ever built I'd find this one (it was featured on BAT a while ago). Its based off of a 1989 Carrera 4 (4WD FTW!). So now I have $156 left over.
I'd take $100k and get, for my third and final obsession, this sexy cat (it is Caturday after all)
I needed something for motoring en plein aire so a series I XKE with the 4.2 litre I-6 fits the bill nicely. But I'd want mine in BRG. I'd use the remaining $56k for maintenance on the XKE. And rust prevention/mitigation/panel replacement since I live in the PNW and no garage... oh well, C'est la vie. Mais c'est une vie vite!

spent a long ass time writing an article for this, but IE9 decided to STOP RESPONDING Grrrr.......
so,
sell GTi, Jetta, and Elantra to add on $43,000.
use said $43,000 to expand driveway, and make a cover in backyard thing.
so cars
Me: Euro spec VW Golf R Mk7, with APR mods. about 400hp and 420 ft-lb of torque in a 6sp daily driver hatch. cost: $45,000
Mom: Maser Ghibli. she's done a lot for me, time to repay her! Red, with saddle interior. $110,000
Dad: Cayenne Turbo S. he loves it, he deserves it! $150,000
Stepdad: this man is one of the hardest working people I know of. he loves 911's, so i'd get him a 911 turbo S. $200,000
Stepbrother #1 (can drive stick): likes big trucks, and he says he might need one sometime. Cummins equipped Ram 2500 Laramie for $60,000
Stepbrother #2 (can't drive stick, new driver): He'd get something safe, so how about a Volvo S60 T6 R-spec! 60,000!
Stepsister (No stick, again...) Doesn't like hand outs, so she might not take it...
Still, i'd get her a nice Mini Cooper Countryman S ALL4 with EVERYTHING on it.
I guess it costs about $55,000?
save the remains to put in a collage fund!
so, the total is $
680,000/$700,000!

scratch the collage savings part.
I skipped irresponsible in the title!
then i'd get an NA Miata, with a MS3 engine and gearbox in it. new trick diff off a '14 GTi MK7, and a few other mods to make it look and feel good= rest of money spent
$700,000/$700,000
SPENT!!!

This list is easy-peasy for me, since my list of Top Cars is pretty damned consistent:
First off, I'd sell the 1994 F-150, the 1987 Honda Prelude 2.0 Si, and the 1989 Porsche 924. Woohoo, maybe an extra two grand to play with. Then I'd take my daily driver, my 1991 Audi 80 quattro 5MT,
up to Protech Motorsports a few miles away and throw wads of cash at them to completely recondition the car before having them rebuild and strengthen the engine, after which I would have them install a laundry list of modifications that adds up to about $20k, including tuning and dyno time. Aside from a slight suspension drop, the fog lights, the roof rack, and the exhaust, it would remain pretty damned stock-looking and would remain my daily-driver-slash-300hp all-weather sleeper.
This leaves me with $680k and space for 4 more cars, which would be the following:
1) Simpson Design Italia II GTB
-$7k for a good-conditioned clean donor NB Miata.
-$12k for the body conversion and paint.
-$25k in upgrades and mods, plus dyno and tune.
Remaining:
$636,000
2) 1986 Alfa Romeo GTV6 Callaway Twin-Turbo w/ NACA hood
-$26k for the car
-$3k for the carbon fiber NACA hood
-$20k in upgrades and modifications
Remaining: $587,000
4) 1985 Audi Sport Quattro SWB:
-$200k for the car.
-$30k for modernization to the turbo, suspension and braking system
$20k for a professional rebuild and tune to optimize engine for the newer turbos and reduction of turbo lag.
Remaining: $337,000
4) McLaren MP4-12C Spider aka, the only damned supercar I've ever really given a fuck about.
-The car: $330k optioned the way I want it (aka as pictured, though with different wheels).
-$7k in extra tires.
Remaining: $0
