Have seen 3 does and a yearling fawn so far...none gave me a shot. Saw a decent 5-6 point buck last night, but he was hauling ass after a doe through the brush and I never got a good view.

I like how in America, there is cell phone reception where people hunt. I don't know why but that just strikes me as really funny.

hehe. To be honest this stand is maybe 300 yards from my back door, if that. I usually get bored sitting and go wander across the fields, but my old man lives on the other side of the fields and he says I'm scaring all the deer away stomping around. So I've been making myself sit. Saw a 4th doe after my original post...she gave me TWO shots, at maybe 100 yards, and I missed both. Because my Mosin was still set to 200 meters from sitting in a different stand last night. Doh. Over her back both shots.

Ah. Here in Canada once you are outside towns cell phone reception pretty much drops off completely.
