Is it bad that I like the MK.II Supra more than the MK.IV?

I don't, but I do like the MK.III better.

I don't think that's bad, it's an awesome looking car in its own right.

Nope. Mk II Celica Supra is my favorite.

Absolutely not, the Mk. II is awesome (although I personally prefer the Mk. III if I must pick a Supra to like)!

I do prefer the Celica GT-S coupe when it comes to the A60 chassis though:

Mark my words, one day I'm going to have an '85 just like this (except red) with a 3S-GE BEAMS Blacktop under the hood. I've been looking up all the parts needed for the swap a lot lately, even if I'm not going to be able to do it anytime soon.

You're less likely to see one of these Fast n' Furious'd out. Their age makes them rare, but the Mk IV gets all the Supra Demand, so they aren't expensive. A 2Jz GTE will fit just fine, as would any nationality V8, if you prefer.

What's not to like?

I'm afraid so, haha. But, being a true Supra fanatic, I still appreciate and respect the Mk2. It's not really a Supra, but a Celica (XX, which was the inline 6 Celica that inspired the strict Supra starting with the Mk. III). All it takes is a few seconds of listening to that 5M L-type engine to fall in love with it.

I love it so much that I winterized my brothers mkII to use as a winter driver. I couldn't go another winter without driving a sports car.

The MKII has always been my favorite Supra, by far. I love it.

I remember when the seats in these were really hot items. Cars were being stolen just for the seats.

Sorry, I just don't like that nose at all. The Celica, meanwhile, is dead sexy (when the pop-ups are down, mind you).

I'm jonesing for a mk III and doing a 1jz or 2jz swap. But the mk II is definitely a looker.
