I'm 34 years old, and for as long as I can remember I will watch any TV show about cars, or even car related.

the 80's and 90's had a good amount of car related shows such as the dukes of hazzard, the fall guy, night rider, viper... shows like this don't work anymore but why? (I didn't even try to watch the newer night rider, since it was a mustang)

Then you had all those car shows man tv, then became spike, on powerblock. shows like trucks(really liked that show) and horsepowerTV....

Today we have the TOPGEARS, Fast 'N' loud, counting cars and the classic reviews like motorweek and so on.

I will personally watch them all, anything car related, even if it's bad.

You what do you guys and gals watch? what do you miss? and what should be gone?what should come back?

There isn't much car-related that isn't some sort of "factual" program like Top Gear or documenting builds like Fast N Loud (which I really like). I miss the car-based TV shows of yore like the Fall Guy, etc.

Anyone remember Fastlane ? Pretty bad, but it had some great automotive scenery.

I actually like Fast 'N' Loud too, they even went full Jalop on yesterday's show with the drag station wagon.

Dukes of Hazzard.

Kinja'd!!!

All the others in the 70s were cheesy, all the ones in the 80s came too late for me.

And for Fast lane, I remember watching the first episode, and that's it.

LOL, correct.

I can't think of any other late-70s car show that would have captured my attention the way DoH did.

There was Speedbuggy and Wonderbug, but those were too cartoonish and silly.

As we entered the 80s, I first started to notice how cheesy they were. While the DoH was cheesy, it was perfect for an 8-10 year-old.

If it was on I watched it. Not going to count other vehicle based shows like Battlestar, Space 1999, Airwolf, Blue Thunder and Tales of the Gold Monkey.

Anyone remember Automan?

History in Canada has a couple shows that I enjoy like Restoration Garage which follows the guys who built the Bugatti Aerolithe, counting cars, and I really enjoy Highway to Hell.
