My license sticker renewal is coming up in February, so I have a few months to make up my mind. It's for a Focus ST.
So far:
-TQ STR
-TQ STEER
-TRQSTEER
Suggestions? Anyone good one brought up over at the ST forums is '0 RWHP'
Yes I've posted this before, but I'm at the checkout page and dillydallying on what to pick.

TQ STEER looks best IMO. Which one are you leaning towards? They're all great.

Agreed TQ STEER

I think "TRQSTEER" might be better. The average person probably doesn't know what "TQ" is and/or how to pronounce that. At least they know "STEER" is a word.

If I were the average folk, I would think TQ STEER had something to do with cattle.

Yes! That's perfect! I have been racking my brain for a vanity plate for my ST. I had wanted "ST250" but it cannot be used and FOCUST was taken. I was going to try "ZRO FCS" or "OPPO". Hope you don't mind if you see a Saskatchewan plate that says TQ STEER.

All good, haha :D
It's a tough decision, because you want it to mean something, yet subtle.

TQ STEER or TQSTEER, the latter without spaces.

I'm with you. Other commenters are mentioning how other people might not know what 'TQ' stands for, but you could keep it as a filter of sorts to weed out the regular people from the car guys.

Oops, sorry these are the right ones, just I totally agree with you. Most car people would know (at least I hope they do!), its an inside joke, and thats always fun :D
TQ STEER
TRQSTEER

All I see is a t and a q beside the word steer. Mind goes to FullMetalJacket. 'Texas! Only steers and Queers come from Texas!' And if you are in the big smoke stay off Church street! Go with trq. That's my two obsoleted monetary units.

I'd definitely go with some variant of TQ STEER (Yours to Discover).

I think if I were going to abbreviate it I might do "TORQ STR" but I do think "TQ STEER" is equally clear. I think I like being extremely deliberate with the "torque" part for some reason. Really though I don't think you can go wrong with any of these!
