So I have a '95 Firebird Formula with the LT1 and T56 and you can't forget the T-Tops. Car only has 99,xxx miles but the paint is really rough and the interior is starting to fade and I'm pretty sure the suspension bits are starting to go out. My question is, what are some interesting things I can swap all the go fast bits into? I would rather keep it GM and I am very partial to the 60-70s. Either way, what would you drop the engine and trans into.

60's 70's....
Do something very unusual, like dropping those nice things in a Beetle!

Nova II. Probably one of the cheaper GM project cars of the era.

You should have seen the lady at the DMV, she was all confused. I don't think she put the car and the plate together.

How about a 4 door car with go fast looks. 1970 Catalina.

I was always partial to the '80s G-Bodies. They sold the shit out of them in the day but other than the T-Type, they had rather unremarkable performance. A warmed over LT1 in a Cutlass would be a nice performer. I think SBC swaps into them are pretty straight forward.

'67 Catalina or Bonneville. Convertible, 2+2, sedan, wagon, it doesn't matter which. Dat face:
I've already built a few in my head, with LS engines and 6L80 or 6L90.

It only has 50,000 miles and I have a vision of showroom floor restoration. Not big wheels, no big brakes. The most the engine will get is an exhaust to let that monstrous 281 V8 scream.
