I read the statement he released, and while it makes it seem that he won't be at McLaren next year, the statement does not confirm it. The article you linked also refers to Perez as "the spaniard" but he's Mexican...

Yeah there's certainly an error in the autosport article, but that doesn't change the fact that pretty much every part of Perez' statement is saying he's done at Mclaren and his focus is now on finding a winning ride for 2014.
