Hand-me-downs from my dad, gotta be at least 25 years old.

I remember him having these on his dresser ever since I was a kid. Now they're on my desk, and were begging for a quick photo op.

Oh, I know these... IIRC, the line was called Planet Micro and released in the 90's in light of Micro Machines' success in the late 80's. I used to have a lot o Micro Machines back in the day, but the Hot Wheels Micros never made it to Brazil.

That they are :) I gotta take pictures of my Toolbox city one of these days. Hard to believe I still have it after all these years.

Who made Micro Machines? I remember having a ton of them, but as a kid I probably called ever small car a Hot Wheel, and every micro car a Micro Machine.

IIRC... Galoob Toys until 1999, Hasbro bought them out in 2000 and continued the line for another 6 or 7 years.

The 2000's just weren't the same though. Unlicensed cars, boring themes and simplified packaging kinda ruined them, which is probably why they went out of production after all....

Here's one of my favorite sites on the matter:

http://m-m-world.com/

Great content, complete vehicle lists and a layout with pictures and original posters that just scream nostalgia.

Love the look of this one. Like a Shackled-up '57 Chevy.

Wow those are some really great photos! Really bring out the attitude of the cars. the Vette of 63 vintage is my favorite!
