Ditch the smoked lenses and I like it.

It's not broed to an unpossible level, so it doesn't bring rage from me either.

That's not a 460 badge..... needs more 460.

I think it's a Powerstroke, found it on a diesel blog.

Hrm, thought it was a Cummins emblem.

I think the trick here is that they didn't make it non-functional.
In fact they may have actually improved it's functionality, it's clearly on a farm so it might get used.
The giant wheels to go with bigger tires and making it not really useful anymore and the fact that bro trucks never see dirt, let alone gravel is what angers us.
I agree with ur ditch the lenses, cool truck.

On a Ford? lel

Bro trucks are kind of a guilty pleasure of mine. I don't think I could ever own one, but it would be so much fun to borrow one and bro out on some trails/abandoned back roads for a while.
They're more common than Corollas where I live so it could just be a case of Stockholm Syndrome, though.

They're okay if they are done tastefully like the one I linked. I hate the stupid duallys with stacks, etc. lifted beyond purpose with shitty tires and giant rims that can't even offroad, etc. Stupid to spend $50k on a diesel dually and then spend several more thousand rendering it useless.

Cummins on a Ford?
Get. Out.

1: Totally not a bro truck. This is old (bro trucks a newer) has proper wheels and tires (bro trucks usually have chrome and no less than 18"), and its got a proper lift for its size. Finally, this photo was taken on a farm, my money says it gets used like a truck should.
2: This reminds me SO MUCH, of my old F150 which I loved and miss so much.

I wouldn't say I like bro trucks. But I do like trucks with about a 4" lift and offset tires. If I didn't look like a douche, I would totally drive a prerunner looking truck.

Mein Gott...

The swap is common. Cummins into Ford, Cummins into Chevy/GMC...it's a good thing. Unless this had a 94 or newer 7.3. The old IDI NA motor was great for economy, and not much more. Same for the IDI mechanical turbo.

I do have an abject hatred of all things dually, so I can get behind this.

Absolutely, I'm a huge fan of trucks that are lifted ever-so-slightly with chunky tires. It may be a bit douchey, but can look great if its not overdone. Plus, y'know, offroading fun.

Looks like a Cummins swap to me, and from the theme of the other Ford on Jalopnik that had a Cummins in it I yell: SALVAGE CLAIM!!!
But this does look a lot better than that NPoCP one.

I don't hate duallys that are put to good use... pulling a gooseneck trailer, 5th wheel, etc. or towing, doing heavy duty stuff.

Lifted pickup =! bro truck.

I think this one's new enough to be a 7.3 Powerstroke and not an IDI. But yeah, the Fummins swap is a common one.

why is a prerunner douchey? I plan on getting one once I get a steady job

I think they look badass, but running that on the road is a bit much.

haha I don't disagree, and to some people stanced and cambered Golfs are cool, and riced to the titts Neons, but to everyone else you are shunned and ridiculed.

That's not really a bro truck. That's a competent offroader.
