It really is. I enjoyed watching the ailerons on the B-1B flipping up and down as the pilot adjusted his position.

My first ride in a KC-135 involved a mission to refuel a B-1B. It was incredible. It was also at night. On another mission, I was in a C-17 riding in the cockpit. We were heading to Iraq and tanked up for a little fuel over Turkey before entering the combat zone. It was amazing to watch the pilots do their work.

My brother and my best friend were boomers on KC-135s during the first Gulf War. I was stationed in Texas and they used to come pick me up when they had training missions out of Barksdale AFB. So much fun to watch that stuff.
