Ungghh... Kinja is screwing me over.
I wrote a post, then when I clicked the publish button it gave me the red error message. What do I do?

Did it have a picture or link in it? If the picture is too big, or if the link is formatted incorrectly, Nibbles will spit it out.

It had quite a few high-res pictures in it.
How do I embed pics in the new Kinja poster?
I couldn't figure out how to do that, so I reverted to the old poster and made my post (with many large pics) and I tried posting. That didn't work (red error), so I came to the new poster and tried. Didn't work again.
So are you saying I shouldn't use as many pics? I guess that makes sense. Ok.
Aiyah. Kinja make me da very sad boi.

I make long photo dumps using wallpaper size pictures. Kinja.... doesn't like me.

Normally, you can just paste the photo URL into the text where you want it. Otherwise, you can save the photo to your computer and upload using the photo browser. You can also upload to some service such as Imageshack and use their URL.
I'm not sure what the photo size limit is. Perhaps somebody will check in and let us know. But try some smaller pictures. If you have Photoshop, you can save a lower quality but not necessarily a smaller pixel size. I don't think the limit is based on a total of all the images you wish to post, rather if one individual image is too big it will get kicked back.

I see. Thank you for your advice!
I'm gonna go to bed now, so good night!
I'll try this when I get home tomorrow, since my school doesn't block Oppo or Jalop but blocks Kinja (so I can't log in).

Good luck. I may just sound a heck of a lot smarter than I really am.

The image size limit is around 10mb. However there's a bug we're trying to fix (which is proving quite difficult) which causes the save action to time out for large posts with lots of media. So if you're trying to one-shot publish a post with 15 7mb images, you might not have much luck. You should be able to work around it by copying out chunks of html and saving the post incrementally. You can do this as a draft, and once the entire post is saved, flip to published and voila.
Let me know how it goes, and if you run into any other issues.
