Sorry, just generic looking sedans. Don't know why you were expecting Megane RS's... Anyways, info via TTAC:
For D-segment or midsized cars, South Korea's Renault Samsung SM5 (aka Renault Latitude in Europe) will be rebadged as a Mitsubishi here.
C-segment or compact car is speculated to be based on the Renault Samsung SM3 (aka Renault Fluence).

So they want to put Renault on the US market but they are only giving you two of their most shittiest and overpriced cars that aren't even made by Renault. Seriously, no one buys Latitude, Fluence so-so but no one buys it over Megane hatch/GrandTour.
They might as well given you Dacia.

Can't we have this instead?

Nissan should bring over the Clio and Megane. They would make for awesome Tiidas and Sentras. The Renaultsport Megane as theSentra SE-R!

Even though Renault is quite huge here neither the Latitude nor the regular Fluence are even offered by Renault where I live (the Netherlands). We do get the electric-only Fluence, but obviously nobody buys those.

No kidding. I just saw my first ever Fluence in a supermarket car park a few minutes ago. I've only seen them on pictures, so it took me a while to realize what it was.

This would have been a MUCH better idea.

We were expecting RSs because they are awesome and they would be awesome in 'Murica, whereas the average Renault sedan is just another Mitsubishi De-evolution.
