Well Raikkonen is not going to the US gp, the reason is what still in doubt. Rumors say he will have surgery on his back. But it might as well be an excuse to prevent being hated by his fans on Austin. Its a fact he hasn't been paid by his team.

I like Kimi, but I think he is being childish here and spoiling everything good Lotus did for him. They put him again in an F1 car, which was very competative. They gave him absolute freedom to do whatever he wants. So I think he is a prick for doing what he is doing now. Ok they didn't pay you, but they will eventually. It is goddam F1 not accounting(no offense, but it is not the most exciting job), go race.

I can't even justify it going for a surgery. He must do it after the season ends.

I think the back surgery is more of a fact than rumor. He's had some back problems from few races ago. And Lotus paid half of what they owed him this week.

You said it yourself, it's F1, and he did absolutely everything that has been asked of him. He's third in the points for crying out loud, and without his points the team would've been trying to fight off McLaren and Force India. That's a cool difference between $40M and $47.5M that the team will be paid (calculations based on 2009 Concorde, and that's just directly from FOA) and seeing how Kimi was only supposed to be paid a measly $4M I dont see what the fuck are you talking about!
