Anyone have an opinion of them? I've been reading up and they seem to be quite competent modable dailies.

Modding a V6 mustang has to be one of the more pointless things.

NO, NO, NO! Don't waste your time, the Cologne V6 is a slug. Spend a few extra bucks and buy a 4.6 liter car of the same era. You'll be much happier with it in the long run.

Moddable... not so much.

the 3.7 later V6 models are more powerful and efficient.

The V8 Mustangs are always far more receptive to mods.

The 4.0 OHV or SOHC engines are lumps that are pretty strait forward and run reliably, but they aren't powerful, nor as efficient as their lack of power suggests.

A reliable bargain perhaps, if well treated, but not worth a ton of extra attention or money.
