I don't usually like huge cars, but this I would own.

That is gorgeous, though the seller claiming that it's 429 is "basically the same as the very rare Cobra Jet Mustang" shows either intentional disingenuous or ignorance. Still, very cool car.

Basically the same as the 429SCJ - in that it's 429 cubic inch displacement..

Stupidly rare.

Also the same block, crank, connecting rod, piston, stroke, bore, cooling, etc. You know, all of the important things. The only difference between the Marauder's engine and the Super Cobra Jet mustang was the carbs, heads, intake, accessories, and exhaust, but the basic internal configuration was the same. Granted, that equipment made about a 80-100HP difference, but both engines can reach similar potential with good aftermarket parts regardless of which one you start with.

Last time I saw a pair of SCJ heads for sale, the seller wanted mucho pesos for them.

They're extremely valuable for authenticity's sake, but there are way better aftermarket heads now, for much less.

Oh, I bet. IIRC the fact heads were iron and prob weighed a ton. I assume aftermarket heads are available in al-you-minium that weight much less and flow better.
