I missed the first run of the Mystery Machine, but I dug down to the bottom of 3 dump bins at walmart today and came up with 2 of the new ones. I also found a 2005 First Edition Blastous on the rack, I can't imagine how that ended up there. It even rung up for 97cents.
Also got a mainline Sandblaster, Meyers Manx, Aston DB5, and new variants of the 92 BMW M3, XB Falcon, and Mad Manga.

Wouldn't that be nice? We've had this and the E92, but no E36 or E46 as far as I'm aware, and no F30 yet.

So the Sandblaster is one of the HW off-road cars, is the Manx the other?

DAAAAAMMMNNN!!! Nice finds! 2005 is crazy, I was excited when I found 3 2011 edition cars a couple weeks ago. Post more pics of what you bought. I want to see that version of the Magna and the orange car from the off-raod series

Agreed, it's in Japan. That's probably the exact car Jun Imai drew his inspiration from.

Mystery machine.. nice. My wife will tell you to this day that was the one that got away. When the Mystery Machine from the movie went up for sale at $3k with less than 15k miles on it, she wishes we had jumped all over that. She was willing to give up her Volvo!

This list doesn't have alot of the new releases yet, but you can see " off road" is used loosley. The Ranchero and Datsun are in the off road segment.

I haven't even been hunting for the past week but the first store I hit I have a successful haul. And I've seen 2011s, 10s, and 09s around but never an 05, thats the kind of thing you see at hobby shops. I don't even like the car itself but I couldn't leave it there.
The orange one is the Falcon XB, which I had to get because orange Falcon XB.

It was the ACTUAL movie van. I think it was a GMC 1500 maybe?

Ahh you're right. I thought they had used a custom van for the movies to look like the real one.
