Every year the Doolittle Raiders have gotten together to honor those among them who have fallen over the previous year with a private toast.
Doolittle was given a bottle of 1876 vintage cognac for his 60th birthday, that he tasked his Raiders to keep among themselves and open for their final toast with the last two surviving member.
Tonight was their final toast. There are currently only 4 surviving members, and they agreed to let this be their last toast, as well as to open the event to the public. It was broadcast live on the NMUSAF website as well as the Pentagon channel.
