And saw a Renault 8 Gordini. I did not expect that. It was also night time and my potato is scared of the dark, so I'm afraid all I can include is a proper picture of one, and I'll add the only pic I got later when I sync my phone. But yeah, I saw this thing and it was really cool and stuff.
Looked as good as this one too. Now I want an old Renault even more.

Commercial as in Commercial Drive in Vancouver? That'd be a rare beastie indeed!

Yes! You know it? Yeah I've only ever seen a Twingo here and two 2CVs, French cars aren't exactly plentiful here unfortunately.

Actually that's wrong, I've seen a couple Peugeots now that I think about it...

I moved to Richmond from Northern BC when I was 16 (it was in '87), so I'm familiar with the area.
I moved to Saskatoo shortly after the new smoking rules went into effect, and with the 'do not smoke within X meters' of windows and doors deal, I was rather disgusted to do the math and find that in order to smoke on Commercial, one would have to do it in the middle of the goddamn street.
I miss BC, don't get me wrong, but the hippy dippy bullshit pisses me off.

Aside from the usual domestic and German makes, I only ever saw English and JDM (i.e. R32's and kei cars/S-Cargo and the like) when I last lived there. Not much in the way of French stuff except for a really rare Citroen H-van in Abbotsford.
