Beats me. I can totally enjoy a well done Lowrider, but wrecking a car just for the hell of it? All that jumping just can't be good be good for the car, plus there's nothng Low and Slow about it.

I find it so much easier to understand than a lowrider. At least it's a functional mod, even if I can't quite see the point of being able to do that stuff - well, that bouncy turn-around thing the green car does is way cooler than a 3-point turn, and the second car looks like it would be simple to do an oil change on.

Making a lowrider is akin to putting square wheels on, in comparison. It just ruins the car as a functioning vehicle, to no benefit whatsoever.

If you like lowriders, low and slow, do you like stanced cars as well?

I might be wrong here, but I don't think it goes as far as ruining a car. Most Lowriders, at least the 3 or 4 cars that sometimes meet up on the mall near my place, can be adjusted back to more reasonable heights when driving, which is a near necessity considering the brazilian moon-asphalt.

It's not like anybody was expecting a 2 ton Ford Galaxie to blaze around a road course anyways, so I kinda like the idea behind a full sized, smooth chill-mobile.

So you're saying the lowriders are normal cars which just happen to have a special trick when you flick a switch? How's that different from the bouncy cars?

Nope. I can't say I like or dislike something I haven't had actual contact with, but I find the extreme cambers and stretched out tires used in stancing to be extremely stupid. They seem to do more to ruin the car's drivability than just the ride height alone. Plus, I'm not sure those guys actually can raise their cars in driving situations, so there's that as well.

I guess it's just a matter of personal taste, but I think there's a world of difference between lowering a 65 Impala, which was designed for comfort to begin with

Kinja'd!!!

And stancing a BMW CSL, which was specifically made to go fast:

Kinja'd!!!

You can still enjoy a nice evening cruise in the first one, but there's no way the second one would still be enjoyable going fast around a road course.

What? I didn't say they were. I just said I don't particularly care for the bouncing part. Not everyone who owns a lowrider makes it flip on its own roof or hop around you know.

I dropped my phone in your car and I think it fell under the seat. Can you just kind of shake it out for me?
