Is it just me or is that the worst sounding Corvette ever? I seriously laughed hearing it 'roar' down the strip

Sounds more like a flat plane crank V8. I think it might have been dopplar effect, but will have to wait until more video comes out.
Also when running nitrous, you'll hear a bit of a change in pitch of the exhaust note.

no stall , it's a manual ... at least it sounds like one . well , maybe ... I don't know .

It's stalled, the transmission control module pulls timing between shifts.

yeah , at first I thought he had his foot off the brake at launch , but the brake lights stayed on .

yeah, what? The revs sounded like they're constant. It almost sounded like it had a CVT (obviously doesn't)

You could really watch the times drop with a proper setup of bigs n' littles on it for sure. I'm willing to bet there's a lot more to be had just from LMR's setup right now, it's just amazing this thing is in the 9's already.
Makes me wonder what the higher level LTx engines are going to be capable of.
