US import laws. We forfeit so much fun for our own protection in the Land of the Free. But according to my math, counting back from 2013 means the 25 year import ban is about to yield us some tasty potential fruits from across the pond.

!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! might be eligible for import if the build date was in 1988. If not, we're getting close and there are certainly other S2's that qualify.

100% mechanically sound with NO rust on the chassis. Just spent £4.5k getting it through its MOT: Chassis rot removed on out riggers and chassis covered with protective coating, new brakes, new tyres, tappets adjusted etc Just needs a little tidying up on the hood and seats and it will be a perfect example of an S. MOT until May 2014 and taxed til end of the year, full service history. Reluctant sell especially after having so much work done on it recently. Car priced for quick sell so no offers please.

Canadian import S2's have been listed for over $20k USD! This car purchased in the UK for 3,495 GBP translates to about $5,600 USD. Add in transport costs (slow boat probably $1600-2000) and port fees and you could have a very legal TVR S2 for less than $10k. A great resale proposition, or an even better weekend car.

What other cars would you be excited to import? The 90's are soon to be eligible, a great era of Japanese sports cars. And more TVRs! If any of you steal my future import company name, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! Enterprises , I will sue.

How about a Tasmin? 450s et al perform better than Ss. Especially since that S2 was V6-powered IIRC.

Nah the wedge doesn't do it for me. I prefer the lines and leatherbound interior of the S series. And wow, $12 grand! Just makes me more keen on importing a bunch of newer ones.

The company turned a corner in the late 80's when their new designs and new motors were introduced. I think they'll have some value here in the states as they start to make their way over even in RHD models.
