Wheel bearing go bad after 14 hours of track time. Transmission is in a constant state of fuck. Pushing like a FWD car. Eat tires. Trust me I loved it while i raced it but i am glad i moved on.

No, that was a promotional vehicle that I believe Mazda built to show the conversion from street car to race car. Honestly you can't go wrong with a Miata for a track toy, well I can't speak about NCs but the NA and NB have proven themselves to be more than just at home on the track weekend after weekend. It also helps that you can build a track dedicated car for under $10k. Oh and did I mention they are damn easy to work on your self? If you destroy a motor you can pick another one up for about $800.

I always defended the Miata, but I didn't fully understand what they were all about until I ended up getting my NB back in March. They are lovely little cars which can teach you so much about driving while still being friendly to your wallet. I'm glad that you have been enlightened on the subject of the Miata.

Yeah i love the NA i raced. Its just easy. Maintenance items are cheap. Cars cheap. Great internet community. The car was made to race and its obvious

Only thing i am not a fan of is that stupid torque beam its a bitch to put back on. I am sure i will master that though
