This guy claims to be selling a AMG Hammer and he's asking $155,000 for it. Is it a good price, or was he hammered when he put up the ad?

I hate when people post expensive rare cars to CL, and make really shitty ads

For that price I'd expect more than 1 picture, and not a picture taken with a potato!

If I was in the market for this I would want a log book of the cars history, including but not limited to

oil changes

tire rotations

car washes

every time someone passed ass gas inside the cabin

where it was maintained

what fluids it has

so on and so fowarth

You should go check it out. If it's fake, we'll know. If it's real, you get to see a Hammer up close and we get pictures of it. (right?)

IF the ad is real, and that is a BIG if.. I'd say perhaps it's worth that sort of money to the right guy (read collector). But for someone who's solely looking for performance? Nah, more power could be had in that chassis for less money. :) Buy an eighties E class mercedes, drop a 5.7 litre Gm in there, give it some forced induction and WHAMMY...

So would I. In fact, if I were lucky enough to have a car like that I would take it to a dealer to service it purely so I have a record of it all.
