Time to once again enter the fold of my subconscious with another one of my off kilter dream sequences.
So. I am leaving my grandmother's house on my way to an airport which isn't the usual airport but an airport nonetheless. The thing is, I get sidetracked for some reason and end up parked alongside a graveyard. I get out of the car and put on my headphones to listen to music by the cemetery when I see a red Chevy Cruze limousine hearse drive up and proceed to tear up and down the graveyard roads like a bat out of hell! After a while, it drives up to me and a teenage girl walks out and hands me a gps device of some sort, thanks I guess. I go to get back in my car but it's gone, replaced by a building(!) and surrounded by mooks with guns. I reach into my pocket and pull out a bolt action rifle (!!) and shoot the fuel tank of a conveniently placed gas tanker truck which promptly erupts into a conflagration of gasoline and metal. With all the henchmen taken care of, I walk into the building only to discover that it is in fact a massive GameStop... What? Inside I talk to one of the employees about what happened and he points out that the armed men were after the 3DS games (seems legit) and that if I hadn't come along, they'd have been goners for sure.
As a reward for my services, the manager materializes a Gran Turismo edition Corvette and tells me to go to the coordinates on my device. Why are people always handing me strange devices in my dreams? Anyhow, I follow the road all the way down and end up in a multilevel parking garage. I get out of the Corvette and walk into what looks like a Wendy's but is actually a bank and talk to one tellers. They tell me that there is a carnival being held in the parking garage and that I should attend. Okay, if you say so. I exit the bank and walk towards the parking. In the center, there is a hollowed out section with all sort of rides and food stands, the most prominent feature being a giant food kart in the center which is actually two semi-truck trailers bolted together but decorated akin to something you'd find in Coney Island.
I order some corn dogs with funnel cake and a lemonade sorbet before I see some of my family wave at me and just as I walk up to them, I wake up.
I should visit my local Chevy dealer.
(Could one of the mods pleas insert a C7 picture into my post? My university wifi won't let me, because Kinja.)
