Well, it's not car related actually. It's collecting old Smartphones!
I bought this phone today:
A Sony Erricson P800i for 10 bucks. Yeah, look at that!
I also bought this thing yesterday:
Nokia E90 Communicator, for 180 bucks...
Anyway, any oppo suggestion for a phone that i should buy next week?
I already have the iPhone 2G, Nokia 9500 Communicator, Samsung i900 Omnia, Samsung i600, Nokia N95, and the legendary N-gage.

I'll sell you my vintage Galaxy Precedent for 200$ Trust me, it's a steal. Got that well-used look and everything.

Ahhh man I sold my OG Droid 1 and a Motorola Q a few weeks ago! I would've sold them to you for $50!

mmmm
I have to google it first actually, and honestly, that's a bit crappy from the looks.
Why you bought that phone?

Hmm
That is a good one.
Let's see if i can get one of those.

One night I was over on my neighbor's deck with him and his wife. We were talking about all sorts of subjects over beers. At one point, cell phones came up and we were discussing the size progression. He is not tech savvy at all. Not one bit.
"Hold on a minute, buddy I have something to show you!" he said as he jumped off his chair and went inside...
He came out with an armful of cell phones dating back to the mid 90s. As he proudly laid them all out on the table in order from large to small, I noticed this one towards the end of the progression.
I picked it up, and told him it was my favorite.

They were $60 new in box on ebay for awhile.

yeah looks like it, without the extra buttons, but this phone introduced me to Android, and probably also why I wouldn't buy an apple smart phone for some time..

Hmm
I think the oldest phone i ever have is a Siemens A55. It's stolen tough :(
Also, some say that phone have the "2G version:

because it was $70 brand new, and wasn't nearly as outdated then as it is now.
Also, that was a joke. Unless you DO want to shell out $200 for it, then I could get a nice Galaxy s3
![]() 11/07/2013 at 11:26 |

yeah.
But actually i might be buy one for daily usage.
My daily phone is nowhere near as understated as a Pre.
*It's a Fujitsu F-02E btw.

Well, my first android phone is a Xperia Arc. Before the Arc i was stuck in i900.
I also never buy any apple. My iPhone is a gift from the previous owner of my house.

I use a pre. I'm a fan.

70 bucks?
that's nice back in the day. But today, mmm

Sanyo scp 6200 (or 6400).
I had a few of them, and they were the smallest they got before they started adding features.

Honestly i can't believe that is not from the 90's.
But i might add that one to my collection as well, if the price is right.

Nice :D
I like the pre. Too bad they never sell any of the Pres in here, they're mostly black markets from Singapore. So i never buy one.
but now, i might be getting one.

All good phones i think, using the old Galaxy Nexus right now, and works great, its great with GPS and has no problems playing Pandora in parallel so dont really feel the need to upgrade just as yet. In my honest opinion all Apple products cost too much for very little kit, Although I still use a 80GB Ipod video I bought used off Ebay..

I DO actually have some older blackberry at home, I'll look into what it is this weekend.

Sony xperia play , I know, it isn't that old, but I think it will go up in price and maybe even become a collectors item as
''Sony's failed attempt at a succesfull PSP phone''.
Like the N-gage.
I have one and it is amazing.
![]() 11/07/2013 at 12:24 |

I imagine you can even play movies with that one.

I've got an old Samsung Galaxy Spica from 2009. It's the second Android phone by Samsung, and probably the crappiest. It came with Android 1.5. If you want to see how quickly that OS (and hardware) has evolved in four years look no further.

It was the hipster of cell phones.. Controlling the TV before it was cool.

I used to collect old PDAs. At one point I had a Palm IIIxe, Palm Tungsten T2, Handspring Visor Edge (my favorite), Sony Clie PEG-T615C, Compaq iPAQ H3100, and a few of the newer Windows Mobile PDAs that I don't recall the model numbers of.
EDIT: They were Dell Axims! I had an X30 and an X50v.

Axim!
My father used to have one of those, the X50. I want that, but he refuse to give me his Axim..

Well, the curve maybe?
The one wit trackballs :D
I love that.

I was thinking the spica was the first.
The white one is quite good looking tough. But i think i'll find the HTC Magic first.

Yes, i know.
My brother still use one of those as well. I know one day it'll be a future classic.
But i think the Play was failed because it was dated since it launch. If sony gone with the Snapdragon S3 that would be a killer.

Plus they never really bothered to update the exclusive Play Store.
