I want to build a hotwheel parking garage for my sons. We have a train table that is perfec as a play table, and was going to build a multi-level garage for him to play with. The wife vetoed that, but found one that she likes (oddly, its exactly what I would have built, only smaller). Its $100 freaking dollars. Please help me find a bigger, better, badder parking garage for my boys to play with.

You should try talking her into letting you build one, your kids will thank you. My old man made a garage/gas station combo for me and my brother when we were, what, 3...? We handn't moved out of Paraná yet, so definitely before I turned 5, but I diggress. It was awesome, far cooler than the ones in stores and I think I learned most of th forbidden words by watching him build it.
If that's still out of the table, I'd recommend searching eBay for mini playsets from the 80's and 90's in good shape. You can pick up a few and build around them, that way you'd both be buying them a set and building something. :p
Something like this, but with a playset garage built around it.
