So this weekend (Saturday the 9th) there is a "Gimmick Rally", which is like a scavenger hunt along the back roads of East TN. 4 or so hours of twisty road driving! I encourage all of you to come to this, if you live close enough!
"Gimmick Rally open to all vehicles. Starts and ends in Dayton, TN at Point Park. Entry fee of $10.00 per vehicle or an unwrapped toy of equal value and a covered dish for dinner after the rally. Approximately 125 miles (+/- 4 hours) of paved curvy country back roads through some of East Tennessee's most beautiful scenery. Checkpoints and trivia questions/scavenger hunt along the way.
Prizes for closest to actual mileage, furthest from actual mileage, best trivia score, best dessert, most people in one vehicle, and more. FUN FOR ALL AGES! Bring your camera, the leaves should be at peak!
Registration opens at 10:00 am, first car off at 11:00 am. Dinner starts when 75% of cars return. Drinks, hamburgers and hot-dogs will be provided along with your covered dish.

Family Truckster (truck, minivan, burban, jeep, etc.)
Antique/Classic (hot rods, rat rods, antiques, etc.)"
