oppo in 2.5 tons of rwd converted Land Cruiser.

I did a full, Tokyo drift style this morning in my parking garage around a 120 degree bend with my cruiser which is temporarily rwd (front shaft off for new u-joints) with the aid of a little wetness from the snow.

Hand brake turn in, right back on the throttle, perfect arc around the bend, with a decent slip angle too. many witnesses. Its a small win that will make this day more palatable.

Also, don't freak out about it being in a parking garage, it wasn't in an area people can go and the corner is protected from oncoming traffic.

I happened to take it out of my car last night to get ready for my Moab trip coming up. I do apologize.

What's the point of a RWD conversion for a Land Cruiser? You can just throw it in 2H anyways. EDIT: I just read about your u-joints so disregard this post. :P

nope, full time 4wd. It has a VC coupled locking center diff and is normally either 4h with the center diff being able to transmit a maximum of 30% torque to the non-slipping axle or 4l with the center diff locked. Mine has been modified to allow me to lock or unlock the center diff when I please. Since my front drive shaft needed new u-joints, I just took it off and locked the center diff in 4h. I loose ABS, but it gets me to work.

No apology necessary.
