Its -14C (w/ windchill) and I'm not amused.....It really sucks not having an impact wrench yet, and having to jack the rear of my Bonny on each side to switch the tires :/

I had to get, literally, a 3-foot-long, 1" dia. breaker bar, after snapping three others in half trying to get one lugnut off.
Then, the wheel was fused to the hub, and I had to get under the car with a rubber mallet and vent all of my frustration into the inner sidewall.

Heated 3 stall garage with three air compressors in it.
Best investment I've ever made.

Been there done that, both my rears like to stick so its always an adventure to get them off, I once spent 9 mins with a big rubber mallet bashing the crap out of my inner sidewall and managed to sorta hulk it off, almost onto my rear, and geez three breakers mans thats a stuck lug-nut, I'd be tempted to take a torch to that nut.....then again when I reach for fire the object in question doesn't last long :)

It's actually a lug bolt (I misspake), so heat would only make things worse.

When I was in the "rust belt" (where I grew up), We put anti-seize on everything.

It was 72º here in vegas today (22º for our northern, southern, eastern, western, and every other way, friends). What is this snow and rust and salt and seizing you speak off? Also, how do you play imaginary NASCAR tire changer without an impact wrench!?!?

Thats too hot for me, as much as I may bitch about it at times, I do enjoy the cold and I don't think I could live where it doesn't snow and ice over...
I wish my tires were like F1's (minus the size weight price), it would make them a lot easier to deal with

It's 9 months of nice weather + 3 months of summer hell (115ºF/46ºC) is common. Hate running cars hard in the heat, and working on them is a mother. Autocross and drag events happen after sunset which is pretty cool though. And F1 style wheels would be awesome. I would potentially have 3 sets, street-autoX-Drag
