Mine is System of a Down. I usually dislike hard rock (or whatever it is), but I love SOAD for some reason.

Love SOAD. Tho, my guilty pleasure is Slipknot. I was never into that genre but somehow i love them.

I'm a rather hardcore metal dude, but I like old school rap as well... but as for "Guilty pleasure"?.. I COULD say Boogie Wonderland by Earth, wind and fire (but that'd jsut fall under old school rap (hip-hop) yeah... so no... THIS is my guilty pleasure

"Some reason"
reason = logic
logic = order
order = baseball
baseball = awesome
.
.
.
therefore,
System of a Down is awesome.

I still like Green Day quite a lot.
There, I said it.

Serj Tankian, SOAD singer's solo stuff is good too. Check it out if you haven't heard it before:

A tad too much if you ask me :P

Korn for me. Grew out of that phase a long time ago, but some of their songs are honestly really good from a musical standpoint.
Also, a fairly esoteric german industrial band, Das Ich. I should hate it, but I don't.

Nothing guilty about that.. Dookie was, is and will always be a rather great album..

Same here, always have. I guess that's another guilty pleasure of mine haha

Uhhhhhhhhhhh. Usually I like death metal, but once in a while. . .

I have a guilty pleasure for certain dubstep artists, especially Knife Party.
I'm usually a rock and old school electronica kind of guy, but certain styles of dubstep sound nice.

I have plenty. I will listen to stuff totally out of my norm when on flights. That is also the only place I will drink ginger ale. Some examples...
Madonna (you wish you could be that flexible at 55)

Lol Knife Party. I like some of their songs. Really, my favorite band of all time is Pendulum though, so I wish Rob would get them back together instead of Knife Party stuff.

I am sorry, but the correct answer was Kpop. But only because of da pretty women.

lmao

Well that actually makes sense. Korean pop stars are extraordinarily pretty.

I feel the same about Pendulum, I guess Rob just had to jump on the wub wub bandwagon. He also said a while back on Twitter that he's planning for a Pendulum album in 2014.

India doesn't have pop stars they have one fat lady that does all the singing and then the pretty girls lip sync to it. No lie.

I figured that'd be the reaction :P And I don't care really.. :) Yeah I like metal, but I also like speedcore and stuff :)

Sorry. Youtube does that for some reason. To think of it, every single video today i watched, i had to switch it to at least 480.

A guilty pleasure? As in, you know you shouldn't like it but do anyway?

This is my jam right here.

Gotta confess to Tenacious D...
What? Kyle can play, and Jack is surprisingly musical.
I'll let myself out.

To be fair, American Idiot was Fucking. Genius. Any band able to pull off a rock opera of that caliber deserves respect.

My favorite groups are The Beach Boys and AC/DC...seen both in concert numerous times.....but never at the same concert :=)

Ah yes, SOAD, who are known for their insightful and thought provoking lyrics.
Why don't the French just fight the war, anyway?
But as for my guilty musical pleasure, I'd have to go with She & Him. I don't know why I like them and I know I shouldn't, but I do.
OK, I know exactly why I like She & Him, but everything I just said about them, I could also say about Zooey.
On a tangential note, I met Norwood Cheek once. He was in Wilmington for the Cookaloris film festival. He's a pretty cool dude who's directed a whole catalog of music videos over the years including Battle of Who Could Care Less by Ben Folds Five.
By the way, Ben Folds Five is not a guilty pleasure of mine as I have no guilt about liking them.

I often get stares.
"Are you listening to cars?"
"A bit, yes."
Also 80's new wave. I still love it.

For me it's either Black Dub or Rod Stewart.

Many drunk nights long ago ended to a group chorus of I Want To Fuck You Completely. And many lulz were had. Guilty drunken pleasure right there.

I have seen them in concert twice, once with Dave Grohl drumming for them at Blizzcon, they are an excellent live show. Lots of theatrics and crowd participation.
Jack Black defies gravity bounding across stage, it is a sight to behold.

Other than the Norwegian Rockabilly, I think this is quite catchy:
