So I had the ultimate pleasure of running into this car on our drive up to New Canaan yesterday, and I happened to get the owner's email (to send him my pictures of his gorgeous race car). He replied with some background about the car and his father who raced it back in the day. Absolutely freaking incredible car. The original owner happened to be a founder of the NJ regional chapter of Porsche Car Club of America and was a respected racing driver by the great one himself, Carroll Shelby. Holy crap I love the stuff people bring out to C&C events like this!

Just heard more from the owner, I'm going to try and meet up with his group this weekend at another C&C event to get some more history and pictures. Will hopefully have a longer, more detailed post to share then!
