So I saw one of these at the MSU game this weekend.

I don't understand the configuration. What are the two (?) big black boxes between the grill and TV? Are those coolers?

It looks like a poor location for the TV. The superior way would be on the side, or one per side.

From an old Jalopnik AOTD

"it comes with a full BBQ grill, a blender, ice chests, running water, two beer taps, and a motorized cover hiding a 37 inch TV"

So yeah, probably coolers, of some sort.

To be honest for one of their builds its pretty subdued. Also, turns out GAS actually stand for something.

That would be the one. I we had a mid-semester friend reunion my Michigan friends were pissed, MSU friends were pumped. And I didnt come from either school, but we won. So it was a good day.

I bleed the green and white myself. Wish I wasn't on the other side of the country :-( and might as well root for the home team. See anything else good around? Was back there in September and saw two mid-twenties asian females in an R8. Other than that I just forgot how shit roads get from winter (Desert southwest I love your 40º winters and never frozen roads)

The only interesting thing I saw was a GTR. But I've seen pictures of people with Lamborghini's and other very nice vehicles.

I went back for my bachelor party about 2 weeks ago, saw lots of expensive metal and a very mediocre win over Purdue. East Lansing sure has gentrified since I graduated in '05.

I think most of the shiny things with 4 wheels come from Ann Arbor, Grosse Pointe, etc. Alums or not. Hope you had a chance to go to burgerama. Nothing better on a thursday afternoon than 50 cent burgers and $3 pitchers

Burgerama opener on Thursday, Karaoke at Crunchie's on Friday, The Riv before and after the game on Saturday, Hopcat, B-Dub's, Ricks for about 15 minutes, and then a cab ride to a pretty magical little place in Lansing that rhyme's with "Shmomar's" for the lion's share of Saturday night. And a few 2 AM dubs from Menna's, and a little closing time Bell's pizza.

And a brutal 4 hour drive home after 3 days living in utter sin. Worth it.

I wish I could recommend that post 100x. That's the quintessential EL weekend...minus Ricks...I'd be happy to never go back to ricks.

Yeah. Rick's was 15 minutes wasted. I had to ponder why it was such a common stop on my collegiate weekends, then I remembered: I had a 100% closing ratio at Rick's. I couldn't be proud of each one, but dammit the streak was alive.
