That would require cutting the hood to make room for the upper cylinders, so one would be best starting with a junker. Would need a very large model airplane prop so it'd be just for cooling - otherwise, reaching outside the diameter of the radial would make things quite hard to manage.

My parents actually had one of those early 50's Studebakers. I only know that because there's a photo of my mother holding me as a baby inside one of them and my sisters standing nearby. I do remember as a boy looking at photos of that car wondering how anybody could make such an ugly automobile.
