"area man" (hurrburgring)

New "feature" - I will randomly drop an awesome shot of a wagon smoking some tires on you guys. I'm kind of like Banksy.
Can you guess the wagon? No cheating!
Edit
: The winner is TEAMWORK. ddavidn set up the alley-oop and Laird Andy McBratlle threw it down. It's a late-80's Nissan Pintara.

It looks kind of Mitsubishi to me, but a Lancer or Space Wagon doing burnout doesn't make sense..

Maybe! Still not sure about those taillights though.

I was thinking Mitusbishi Sigma Wagon mid eighties at first, but the taillights don't match..

The taillights look more Subaru or Mitsubishi than Nissan.. kinda sorta. But.. this is hard..

Subaru is a good call. Certainly might be a subaru.

No... I've been thinking... You are right.. it IS a R31 wagon.. or Pintara (same thing) I'm SURE of it.
Edit: but those sure didn't do no burnouts with the standard engine though, We wanna know what's IN this thing now :)

How can you be sure? Nissans aren't really my thing, but luckily I spent some time last month looking at R31s, so it sprang to mind as a good fit for the shapes. But... the tails...

Because i started thinking, and realised we might've been fooled by the JDM stickers... this IS a Pintara (99% sure) and that was an Australian Nissan.. I'll se if I can find some pictures.
Edit: Picture.

ddavidn should get ALL the creds, he said R31. I'll just add that I think it's a Pintara :)

Nice! They looks exactly like it. B. Body Burnout says we're just "very close," though.
Obviously, this one has been a bit modified...

The tailights are the curveball here. Andy guessed correctly (Pintara) but you got the ball rolling with the R31 guess.

Ahh, not all the creds! You filled in the missing aussie piece!
Now somebody tell us what's under the hood!

I'm guessing a RB under the hood :P But perhaps some aussie special... an RB30 perhaps?

Sounds (and looks) like a lot of fun!

I'm actually embarrased that I needed someone to tell me it was a R31. I've been reading up on the aussie made japanese cars to such an extent that I SHOULD have seen it myself :)
But it was fun :)
