It pains me so much that this is still stuffed with batteries.

I think it looks fantastic.

I'm baffled by Honda's refusal load a few of these up with the 200hp power plant in the Civic Si. It's screaming for it. It's not like I've been the only one who has been clamoring for it.

I think, though, that once the used car prices on these things start falling I'll look into picking one up for my commutes despite what could have been.

What the shit is up with this formatting? The header picture isn't centered and enlarged because?

I wouldn't mind it being stuffed with batteries as long as it was quick and torque-y.

<—still annoyed that overseas they have a backseat, here they have a stupid shelf. My only reason for not buying one is I need a backseat for my son.

There are actually plenty of tuning options out there now, and you can get it to about 200+ hp with a supercharger and an ECU tune. There's also an LSD kit for it if you want more traction.

To be fair, you can probably get it online though.

Same thing with the Prius V! They have a third seat option we don't get over here!

I still never see these around. That should tell Honda something.

Yup!

Honda should definitely have a non-hybrid CRZ! It would probably only weigh like 2200 lb

Here is the model range they should offer:
DX, base model, R18 non-hybrid, manual windows, no features

LX: same as base model but with more features

Si: K20 8000 rpm, sunroof, 6-speed manual

Type-R: 220+ hp K20, stripped interior, no features

HF: the hybrid they currently offer now

And of course, the original Insight should've been offered as a non-hybrid CRX/Y/Z

I remember seeing my first CRZ in Tokyo. It's a looker, but moronic that it's a weak hybrid. My neighbor has one. It could be great.

That's because it's way too small to be a header image.

One of our former commenters has one of these. So they sold at least one! ShantJ got pushed away by Kinja. He's a big fan of all thing weird and especially French, should you ever come across someone mentioning Shantbait.

He still drives it. Doesn't talk much about it, as he's usually distracted by K-cars, malaise iron, and 2CVs.

I'd still be happy to DD once of these. Nice balance between gas money and fun, I think. I see a few of them on the freeways.

Used prices are still flying high for these. Once they start moving for around 10k, it'll be hard to pass up on one.

Definitely. I've only seen them down to $15k.
