I finally sanded the... six? (that's lowballing it) layers of paint from the front suspension cap, repainted and fitted it. I fixed the wing mirrors and attached spacers to the under-tray so the car doesn't rest on the wheels and stress the suspension. There's still a lot of decal-ing to do.

Well, I like some cars. I like this one in particular. I'll realistically never see one in the flesh let alone own one, so a 13-inch long version is the next best thing for me.
Plus it lets me work with my hands and, in the end, I not only have a cool model but a sense of accomplishment.
