What do you guys use to get these spots out of your paint? Seems to be either tree or bird droppings or some combination of the 2. I washed the car 4 times today and couldn't get these spots out. I was using Meguiars california gold and a car washing sponge with a scrubby side.
Looks great from 10ft, even from 5 ft but when you get up close you can see these marks:

I've used spray wax before and gotten those types of water marks.
I can't remember the exact name of it.

I'd give it a light cleaning with a clay bar, but rub it very lightly. I had some tree sap that gave my front bumper a pretty nasty spot, but the bar managed to most of it out. Then wash/wax/polish.

I've had great success with Meguire's Cleaner Wax. Think of it as a half way point between a regular wax and a cut polish. It's strong enough to take anything off and even slightly rejuvenates a tired finish, with no chance of doing any damage.
I like your wheels too.

Sandpaper will get rid of those pesky spots. :)

Double thanks (advice and wheels). I'll give that stuff a shot, car is only a year old so I still get bummed when something like this happens. Really makes it look crappy up close, and can't be good for the paint long term.
The wheels are Mopar Envy wheels, I think 2012 was the first year for them and you could only get them on the R/T Classics. They are more widely available now as options and they come in black too. I like the grey though, really hides the brake dust!

Cool, I'll check them out. Looks like the webbing will get a good scrub without being abrasive enough to mar the paint.

Lol, I'm sure it will! Maybe start off with a nice 80 grit to really get rid of the spots and work my way up to a wet sand with 600.

I could do that. Had the car for just over a year now, so maybe it's time for the full wash/wax/polish job after hitting it with the clay bar. Thanks for the advice!

The spots aren't from the cleaning, I think they are from parking under an oak tree and then it rained and the rain drops collected the tree pollen as they rolled off the tree and onto my car where they dried and left the marks.

Try the polish.
If I find the bottle I can give you a name.

Scotchbrite actually will abrade paint, so be gentle.
