I like how the wagon part favors the classics rather than the current trend. A little bit steeper angle and a shelf to get that aero just right. Not enough room for all this.

Keep going and it ends up like this

. No 'real' rear passenger headroom anyway, so something between.

But just enough Wagon to make the point of it all. Lots of wind tunnel, make sure it provides an advantage besides more cage welding points.

The new universal answer: Miata shooting brake.

I rode in the back of an MX-3 on a road trip of 6 hours each direction. Well, we rotated through the back seat. It was more of a parcel shelf with seat belts. It really was one of the most uncomfortable back seats i've ever been in. Back was very vertical with about zero lumbar padding at all, the headroom is as you said minimal so there was alot of 'lounging' sideways-ish with a pillow to be sort of comfortable.....and when I finally got to sleep, they would briefly blast the spice girls to wake me up and laugh about it. Oh the joys of road tripping on no money.

Looks like a bubble Civic. I would prefer a notchback or something along the lines of the MX3.

That reminded me of this. Friend got this new, and oh we so wanted to find that wagon accessory. but dis assembly was fun. Neat car.

The rear seat wasn't too bad, but I completely associate Alan parsons Project and Allman Brothers Eat a Peach Endless*

*He had a portable CD player, and a copy of Eat a Peach on CD. during one of the longer songs, there was a skip that was about perfect going back about 7 minutes. . Only an hour later did you realize the same song was still playing. Good times.
