On my way to Enders Game. Only caught a glimpse between cars at a traffic light, it was blue and beautiful.
Enders Game was great, even better if you've read the book (if you haven't, you should)

The movie does the book justice. Battle school in general was lacking a bit, but command school was fantastic.

Damn it, that's what I was worried about. I'm re-listening to the audiobooks before seeing the movie.

I saw it with a friend who's a big fan of the book, and we both liked it.
In a perfect world it would be an hour longer. They rushed ender through battle school, I mean he was there for like, a month. They picked the right scenes to show and caught the significant moments, but as a fan of the book it felt rushed. The problem was a lack of ancillary character development, especially with bean, alai, and Bernard. Petra was the only one developed well.
There was also little development of Valentine, and the scene where ender goes back to earth was far too short.
It was a very good movie regardless, I was most concerned about the mind game and I think they nailed it, and even though we all know the ending it was fantastic, I got goosebumps in the final battle. I give it a solid 8/10, and really really hope a Speaker for the Dead sequel is on the table

I saw a whole truckload of them driving out through Florence, Kentucky, just past the Florence Freedom stadium for anyone familiar with the area, they looked almost bubble wrapped.
