Pretty cool and I'll bet it was fun to put together.

well i hadn't made one before, and big hands dont work with tiny pieces of paper, putting the side mirrors was a nightmare, but i had to get it done

Thanks. How heavy of paper should it be printed on?

i used normal paper, but the original photo looks like a more thick paper, and i dont know if its bigger scaled as well.

Awesome model, and thanks for the PDF.
I have been looking for it for some time but all the sites that hosted it took it down for some reason.
It will look pretty nice sitting next to my Honda BAR

whoah, by the looks of that Honda, your Lotus will look much better than mine, upload a picture of them together if you can.

Thanks,
I put the PDf in a flash drive so the next time I go to print some charts I'll ask them to print the Lotus too.
If you want to keep on this hobby (I just started, I'm in my 7th model so far) I recommend to print them bigger on 200-250gr paper. The bigger you print it, the easier are the small folds, specially on the tires and side mirrors.

yes, in the original picture posted by lotus the car looked bigger, and in thicker paper too
this was the first time ive ever done papercraft, and i think it shows, what about the glue? i used tape as you can see

Is it hard to do? I am quite tempted to try making it.

Yeah, I'm almost sure they printed it on tabloid cardstock judging by the cutting mat and the xacto knife in the background.
I use liquid UHU glue, but I'm not sure you can find that everywhere
some people recommend Elmer's Paper Craft Glue Gel since it's easy to apply and dries fairly quick. white glue gives you the best flexibility and strength, but takes way too much to dry, so I only use it on part that require extra strenght and will take some weight like for example, the union between the wheels and the suspension arms

It was a little bit difficult for me,like folding the side mirrors, but it was fun. another post says it was because i made it on normal sized paper , if you go to a place to print it on thicker paper and on a bigger scale, it must be an easier job to do.
