It's said that form follows function. The large center inlet on the hood channels air directly to the V10's air intake and the elegant hood vents provide an exit for hot temperatures extracted from radiator to be released. In the case of an SRT designed Viper, these gaping holes are all business.
The front bumper has lateral fins built in that distribute incoming air to the radiator and take new shape at higher speed to create additional downforce. Vents on the cheeks funnel cold air through the bumper, directly feeding the massive brake rotors.
All of these vents and holes allow the Viper to keep it's cool on the track lap after lap of repeat time attack. Or hooning, if that's your thing...

Can't tell if meaningful post or advertisement.
I like a lot of the Viper's aerodynamics, but a lot of it (with the exception of the deformable front fins) is really old technology for US cars. That's not a bad thing, though.

I think the latest Viper is leaps and bounds in the right direction regarding the aero department. As with the latest and greatest, it should also be the most attractive. The team at SRT nailed it for the most part. The gripe I hear most about Vipers has been the interior. Can I take a road trip in the Viper with ease like I could in a C7 Corvette?

Honestly. I have to get this off my chest.
The F-Type is nothing compared to the SRT Viper in beauty of form.
It might be as well put together as the Jag's ancestor, but the fact that it can outstage Callum's passion project gives me faith in the ol' MOPAR boys (and girls).

Sadly, the SRT team appears to have only put out one puny scrap of a picture in this press release .
I want a better picture of the new GTS-R Blue as well.
