Usually we all complain about the dumbing down of styling as vehicles progress from sketch to concept car to production.

I think the Elmiraj is one car where the concept car is a huge improvement over the sketch. It became unsquished. The proportions are way better.

agreed. I actually don't like it when there is too much greenhouse space or too little.

1 series. too much

camaro. too light.

Funny, I normally detest the angularity of modern Caddy styling. These lines, however, are sweeping and soft enough to almost have a Buick vibe, and that means I like it.

That concept sketch is funny.

Would you like to see outside the car? TOO BAD SUCKA!

The side window is what, 2 inches tall?!

To my eye, it could use just a touch more taper in the C-pillar (love that there's no B-pillar...), but that would compromise rear headroom.

No B-pillar = No way it would pass crash standards...

Beautiful, though.

Good point...

I wonder what that door weighs to make it strong enough to endure a t-bone at 40 mph.

The CL550 is 4650 lbs.
