I heard from Automatch the Avanthusiast on Twitter that the Volvo V60 is headed to the US at some point. Be thankful. It's a fantastic car.

Very much a Jalopnik jalopy too as the one I tested was a diesel wagon, although it was also an automatic. But who cares about that when this car's piece de resistance is it's ability to cocoon you in its fantastic interior and drive itself with the best adaptive cruise control on the market in shitty traffic, and long highway journeys. I did over 100 miles without touching the pedals once.

!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and here's a quote.

The Volvo V60 is one of those estates that doesn't make you feel like a failure for having bought an estate. Unlike boxy Volvos of old it is shapely and curvaceous. Volvo has always been confident in its design direction and the current range share a corporate identity but retain individual model characteristics.

We usually get them here at my dealer pretty quick compared to the others around town, can't wait :]

We will not be getting the oil-burner, at least not at initial launch. But they are due to hit dealers this January.

You get the T5 which is the same engine as in the Focus ST and therefore awesome. I drove a V40 T5 and loved it. More refined than a Focus but not quite as sporty.

Yeah the T5 is very nice...but I'm really stoked about the T6!

I'll have a review of one soon.

It is several grades above my "Still in school" price range but between a V60 or an Allroad?

I'm damn glad for the choices.

How does this compares to the legend, V70R?

My friend might get one of these for his new DD. He have the 850R and V70R before.

Nice write up once again! I'm very excited for the r-design model here in the states. Quick question for you: I might have missed it in your article, but how is the body roll in the Volvo? It's a big pet peeve of mine in my current car and I want to make sure the body roll in my next car is minimal.

Minimal. It's suspended very well.
