I have no idea who would consider a low mileage Chevette a collector's item, but I'm sure there's someone out there... right?

At least it has 3 pedals, that's about it. I still think it is a turd.

The best and rarest of the chassis variants. Isuzu Piazza/ Impulse. Part of GM's experiment with world car platforms.

Lotus tuning. Lotus tuning. Italian design. Lotus tuning.

Chevettes, on the other hand, were often pathetic right off the dealer lot.
A friend had one, you had to build up speed to get up the driveway hill. New.

Another friend tried to kill one at its end of life. It couldn't get enough speed to destroy itself.

Then there's the guy who was, what we joked was a serial killer of cars. He was about at car 8 when he went to a junkyard and bought a Chevette..

turns out he had bought the junkyard's project race car. It had a v8 or something.

Still crap.
