I rarely ever see the syclone/typhoon around, but they are cool as hell

This one too. Because twin-supercharged Cobra.

My dad had a Typhoon for two weeks, when I was little. It was awesome and stupid fast, but it tried to commit suicide as frequently as possible even with only 60k. Everything from randomly shutting down, to overheating, to eating its own innards, and leaving its own nuts and bolts in the garage, this did it. Unfortunately, as a result of that, both are pretty much banned from the household.

its an 80's GM product, that sounds typical. The Lightning may have been slower but it was definitely built better and more reliable.

I agree with not hesitating. But, I've never hesitated in buying any Auto I found interesting.
Including a Z34 Lumina (automatic which sucked) and several basket case GLH Dodge Omnis.

The reason the SyTy is so enticing to me is anyone can have one. For an ultra-clean example of either, it's never more than $11k. The GNX/Grand National definitely gets blown away in that aspect.

Just wondering, what did the everyday ordinary version of that truck sell for?

I don't know why, but I can't find it for whatever reason. It's based on a '91 GMC Sonoma though.
