I'd love to read that as well. Screw the haters, David E. Davis Jr. was already writing personal recollections of automotive trips and accidents as early as May, 1967, and that's decades before anyone could pull the "Hurr Durr internet blog" card.

Seriously. May of 1967. Car & Driver published an article by him with the recollection of a particularly pleasant road trip he took in a 1967 Camaro Z/28.
