I was thinking it's a kadett, a.k.a Oliver. I'm bad with an old Opel, i know.
But nope! It's a Rekord!
He said it's his father's car. An early 1961 Opel Rekord, with 1.5L Inline-4 producing a massive 50hp. He drive it because his Scaglietti is broken down again today.
yes, it do 0-60 in 27 seconds. Yes it only has top speed of 80mph. But it's really cool!
And i want it.

People say the new Escalade has a big grille. I think this car beats it.

Well, the escalade is bigger.

I just noticed that this doesn't have any side mirrors. Does it even have seatbelts?

At least it got rearview mirror.
There's a seatbelt tough.

Those old Rekords are awesome, the lines on this thing (and the fact that is looks very American) makes it look so much bigger than it really is. I'll have a Rekord one day, but I think that will be a B or C. Those really are some of the coolest designs to come from Rüsselsheim.
But then you have the old saying: "All cars rust, but Opel has the Rekord"
...
