Enjoy your soon to be AP1. They are a blast, just don't trust it right away. They are evil bitches when they want to kill you. Enjoy that VTEC kicking in yo! I may suggest you look into the Berk Technology testpipe "cat-back" exhaust. It sounds meaner than all hell and it helps massively reduce the mid range dip in power before VTEC kicks in. The noise the F20C makes when it is uncorked and allowed to scream at 9,000 RPM is intoxicating.

Yeah They aren't as vicious as Vipers but a large majority of AP1's hold salvage titles from being crashed when the horrid bumpsteer kicks the rear out. The AP1's have so weird suspension geometry in the rear subframe that does this. It isn't a deal killer for the car, it is just something to be aware of before you try to go 10/10's and lose it. I hate to see wrecked S2000's.

My uncle calls it a few things, like the "stall-reduction" pedal and the "what's that smell?" pedal. The second one is really only used when he's teaching someone.

The high rev limiter is addicting. A good alignment will do wonders for the car as well. From what I hear the timing chain tensioner is a common failure problem. They are great cars that have a great motor but some questionable suspension geometry in the rear. If you want to dial out the understeer that is engineered into the car you can simply put wheels that are of equal width on all four corners and ditch the staggered setup. Enjoy your new baby and revel in the fact that driving with the top down at night is pretty much the best thing in the world. s2ki is a decent forum to glean info from too.
