If you had to have one of these 2 cars.
A 2011 Ford Fusion with a stick:

Or a Kizashi:

Whoa! Suzuki makes cars? I thought they made motorcycles and stuff!

I would pick the Kizashi strangely enough

The EDIT: Fusion. Only because who the hell knows if you would ever be able to get Kizashi parts in 10 years (let alone 10 months)

It's a Fusion, but that is a definite concern about the Suzuki. Although, I still find parts for my '78 Renault LeCar, so this would be a cinch in comparison.

I know. There's something about it. I'm not in love with the idea of a cvt, because I adore driving a manual, but that car looks right.

With the internet things become way easier. The renaults may have a tad more of a following. Not sure if there are any Suzuki collectors out there

Good point. They made many many more Renault 5's than Kizashis and I do tend to hang on to my cars at this point in my life. That Fusion was surprisingly lovely to drive. The Kizashi's just cooler.

The Ford is nice, though that grille needs toned down a bit (a lot). Those slats of chrome are way too thick and unsightly.

Although the Kizashi is loaded, I'd say its ultimately down to stick vs automatic. LA traffic I would lean auto, I dd a stick in Vegas no problems
